imageThe Fisher-Price Smart Cycle is a learning toy that will be high on people's lists this Christmas season. But, the really cool thing about this toy is that not only does it integrated education into play, but it also involves physical activity. The kids can play their video games, learn and break a sweat. Can't beat that! May even burn off some of that energy that kids have so we can keep up with them

Setup is pretty simple for anyone and should take you less than 15 minutes. The only connection you will have to worry about is the one from the bike to the television. The toy is powered by D batteries. One flaw for me is that it does not have the ability to use AC power from the home.

The age range on this bike 3 years to 6 years. That is a fair assessment as my kids were able to pick up on this toy pretty easy. The directions provided by the on-screen narrator were easy for the kids to follow and they did not need much guidance from me.

Another good thing about this toy is the ability to purchase more software so your kids can learn more or go on more adventures on their Smart Cycle. Fisher-Price has several titles out based on many of your kids favorite characters.

I was able to to find this toy at Wal-Mart. This one does not appear to be on their $.97 toy shipping special. I guess that is understandable since it is a pretty big package. it is currently retailing for $89.97.

Most of the reviews that I have read have been favorable.

Here is some more information from the Wal-Mart Website:

    1. Drive: Pedal, steer and learn at your own pace. Visit Math Mountain, Shape Lake, Number Fields, Letter Creek and other stops along the way.
